LDWF seeks to increase fees

FYI: Wildlife and Fisheries is seeking to increase license fees for hunting and fishing. I am not for or against this increase. I am just letting you know.

I suggest a lifetime license. I beleive raising fees will be the norm in the future.

If you can get the license for your children at an early age, it is well worth it. I don't have the lifetime, because it wouldn't be worth it for me now, but I can tell you just in the past 10 years, licenses have significantly increased.

When I bought my lifetime hunt and fish it was probably more money than i would of paid through the rest of my fishing career, but after the last increase and for the convience of not having to renew, it was well worth it. Its a great gift for an infant. And who knows what its gonna be in the next 10 years.

I should've bought my lifetime license a long time ago but wasn't sure how long I was going to be here. Looks like this is good motivation to do it this year and get it over with.
