    Looking for recommendation on solid taxidermist in Baton Rouge area. I am willing to travel a little.

    If you can find Jay Lambermont in LaPlace, he does or did great work. I have a mallard he did for about 25 years ago and it still looks great. I have had Guy Adams do a few mounts, some good, some so so. My sons fish looks great but on his duck mount the tail fell off.

    My family & I have used Sonny Amato on Devall Road in Central, over the years....Worth checking out his studio, IMHO- he has a broad range of his work on display.
