    Looks like a mauser type rifle. Bolt cocks b operating action, or just pulling bolt to cock.
    Has a lever type safety on bolt, and a on/off safety on left side of receiver.

    I'd have to pull them out of the safe to be sure, but I have a rifle like that. (1903 I believe)
    As I remember the on off is a cut off for the magazine to make it a single shot - i.e. Not pull a round from the magazine well.
