I agree. Besides, the way I understand it is most LEO aren't that concerned if you carry a switchblade or not. This just makes it sort of legal.If you get charged with intentional concealment of a knife with a pocket clip, you probably just got arrested for something else and that charge was tacked on.

I didn’t want to hijack this thread with it but I was thinking the same thing. If the clip and top edge of the knife are showing, is it being concealed?

Bottom line to getting charged with an illegal concealed weapon of any kind is:
1) you're getting charged with something else and they searched you, so you already screwed up, or
2) you didn't conceal it very well, dummy...
I once upon a time helped care for a retired state police officer who keep all knives when he arrested someone, The old boy had a cigar box full of nice knives!
