We just adopted a 2 year old female doberman. She'd been shot three times. There was a fired bullet in a ziplock in with her medical records. (I was guessing .40 cal FMJ... too heavy for 9mm, not big enough for .40. If I ever meet the person that did this... )

that's a pretty dog, I have always loved the way a Doberman looks, I have had 3 min pins, they are great dogs also, 2 have past from old age and the last one is still hanging on somehow, death, blind and almost no teeth, lol but shes a trooper 15 years old

I hate seeing things like that done to a dog.

Weigh it and mic. the base as best you can will give you a better ideal.

Thanks for taking in the animal!

And if I still had a scale and a mic I would do that... :)

I had a dobie as a kid. Great dogs! I've been wanting another one for years. I couldn't say no...

We have a three legged cat, he's a rescue. Parker catches more lizards and small birds than our whole cat Ray.
Thats awesomw you took him in

Very likely 147 gr 9mm. I’ve got a couple of brands that are flat nose like a .40.
If it is, that’s a subsonic round and may have been fired through a suppressor which, in my opinion, just adds to the ruthless nature of the injury (maybe snuck around to shoot the dog). Dobies are such great dogs too. Hope the offender has his arm eaten off by a good canine.
