    Good morning everyone!

I am changing out my sights on a couple of my competition pistols. I'm still fairly new to competing, not shooting. With that in mind, I want the competitors here on BS to lend their advice and preferences.

I will go with a blacked out rear and a fiber front-

Which sight set/sight combo do you use on your competition Glock 17, 34, 17L? And, why?

Not a competition shooter but I like these.
Dawson SKU 310-002 front is .105 wide and rear notch is .125
Dawson SKU 310-003 front is .105 wide and rear notch is .135

Somethin to consider when having to rack the slide is front of one rear sight is is more upright than the other.

I'm using the Sevigny carry rear with a .115 front blade on a G34. Black rear and f/o front. The rear is a .150 notch. I'm in my late 40's and the eyes aren't great.

They are on the Dawson web site.

I have used those on a G34 but I prefer less light on the sides of the front sight. Longer sight radius means more light than shorter sight radius using the same sights. YMMV
Different eyes prefer different sights. I am in my 70's with poor vision and my hands started trembling several years ago. My 25 yard groups are twice as big as they were 10 years ago. My 15 yard groups are now the size of my former 25 yard groups.

I run Dawson .105 fiber optic front, and Dawson adjustable rear black. You have to go with a .285 tall front with the adjustable sight. If I only had one load I shoot I could do with fixed sights but I'd have to get the front height to put my point of impact at point of aim at 25 yds.
