Have to catch an early flight to Houston. Saw what looked like an abandoned car and saw this...

If there is no title next to it, I don't know that those documents alone suffice to transfer legal ownership.

They wouldn't... Eventually it will get towed then after sitting in the tow yrd for a while the tow yard will apply for the title based on a lein and unless its stolen they will get it and sell it. Or just toss it in a shreadder

She saw him with someone else. So she wrote a note and parked his car. That will teach him.

I'll take it. I enjoy my 90's model fords. ALready have a 94 Explorer, 97 Mustang, and recently bought a 2010 Fusion. I used to have a 97 Thunderbird and kind of wish I hadn't sold it. But like its already been said... How do you legitimately/legally acquire ownership so you can get it out of there? hmmm......

if they left that note, im sure they left the keys in there somewhere and maybe the title in the glovebox, surprised it hasn't been taken by homeless by now

Should have mentioned that the car is a POS. Seats are torn up and there is junk scattered all over the inside.

if you own or lease property you can park it on your property for 6 months and apply for an abandoned property title.
