i need a humming noise.

thanks to you all who replied to my other topic. i want to keep out outside noise from my bedroom at least. i find a window ac unit drowns out most outside noise. problem is the central ac will make my window unit's compressor go off and the humming noise is gone.

im thinking of a dehumidifier with a compressor. or is there something else that would make that hum like an ac compressor?

I go to sleep with ear buds listening to a playlist of 3 or 4 song and I’m asleep by the time the music stops

Go buy a cheap alarm clock with a radio built in... tune it until you just hear static and then adjust the volume to suit.

Oh and melatonin.

Noise machine. I got one off amazon for like $9. My personal favorite is "summer night" which is basically what you hear out in the deep woods. It's great.

I have a prescription for it for when I work nights otherwise I can’t sleep. I’ve never had any issues like that. People probably take to much.

I have tinnitus bad and I have one of those. The deep woods just sounds like white noise now with my hearing loss. Don't hear the crickets, girlfriend says I hear your crickets I say I don't.
