Those work well to break side windows in automobiles quicker and easier than a Baton or Night Stick.

It’s always funny to watch the new guys try to smash a window with a baton.

There are glass drill bits available and I prefer to use them in a drill press on SLOW with a lubricant like baby oil or lighter fluid (naphtha). I’ve seen glass drilled by getting a metal rod spinning so fast it gets red hot and melts through but I don’t recommend this. Another method is to make a small “dam” out of clay and fill it with fine sand. Use a wooden dowel in a drill press on slow. OR go to Capital City Glass and they will do it quickly and safely. The last time I had a hole drilled it was about $20, but that was quite a while back.
