Way back when I was a kid My dad owned a 513T.
He had it a long time. Not sure the year he got it. But as far back as I can remember he just had 1 magazine.
I scored 2 old stock ones. In wrap. I guess I am always surprised what is still out there.
My wife found a picture of me with dad's gun in my cub scout uniform when I shot it and won a match with it.

That is an awesome story. Why don’t you go into more detail about the gun and you winning the shooting match?
My dad way back when got it in a silent auction. He bid on quite a few and was one of 2-3 he was able to get. At the time he was working on the flight line at Alvin Callender Field. He said he really did not want but 1 but eneded up with 2-3. And the stiry I git was my Mom was mad he got 2-3! As he did not even think he would win one at the prices he wrote down. But lucked out.
Back then Mr. Harry Lee was base security. Along with Howard Pittman. Who started the JPSO K-9 So that should give ya a timeline. Both were friends of dads. Accurate with the Redfield Peep and Globe sights. And good ammo made it better. But Cheapo 22lr was good enough for a shooter like I.
I just know that shooting it as a kid was like cheating when others had less in their hands.

Very nice -- I'm sure our pops crossed paths back at Alvin Callender. My dad was in from 1956 (Lakefront airport) - 1987. He was in the LA Air Guard when they moved to Alvin Callender Field. He was AC Maint, then CE, then back to Maintenance. I remember in 1985 when I joined the reserves driving Harry Lee around, at the time he was an 0-6 and I was an E-2. Col Lee was good to me and gave me a lot of great advice.
