Hope everyone's had a great weekend!

I was looking at the BATF website again and wondering if I should get a C&R license.

But I don't like BATF agents coming to my home to check my records, guns, etc.

How likely is a BATF visit? Has BATF visited any of you?

    Thanks!

If they contact you for an inspection, you have the option of bringing your records to their office. I never had an inspection as a C&R license holder, and only had one inspection in 10 years when I had a dealer license.

I highly recommend getting a C&R. Really makes collecting a lot easier with minimal effort of just keeping a log book. I've had mine for almost 20 years and never been contacted by anyone except for renewal reminders.

I have had my C&R for eight years and was only contacted once. Brought my log book in and was out in 10 minutes. Nice guys and we spent most of that time talking about Registered Magnums.
