Ok so theres alot of barrel company's and sizes and lengths, bearcreek, ballistic advantage, faxon, Odin, ect, and if I missed spelled one sorry, anyway my question is almost all say
1 moa , at 100yrds, but I'm looking for 600 -1000 yards. Can you get away with a 20 inch bearcreek 6.5 cm. Say less then 4 inch at 1000?

After years of trying to do more with less (especially optics) I am now in the buy once cry once camp.

If this was to be a hunting gun I may save a few bucks and use one of the aforementioned vendors. Since you stated a 600-1000 yd I would spend the money for a proven top name.

I have a Bartlien that shoots everything I put in it very consistently. I have a Lilja that is very good but just not quite as good as my Bartlien. My Faxon is a ar pistol with a brace. For what it is it shoots very well. All of these are 6.5 Grendel.

    Good luck

You might. But I would say the odds are against it.

4* at 1000 is .4 moa right? I have read about some bear creek stuff that struggles to hold 1.5* at 100.

BCA barrels are for cheap blasters. For anything you want to be accurate the cheapest i would look at is KAK industries. Most of their stuff is made from Green Mountian blanks and is much better than the price would suggest. Is you want to spend more I can rwcoment Rainer arms barrels. I had a 308 that was crazy accurate.

Well I picked up a bearcreek 20 inch flutted 6.5 creedmoor and a cmmg drop in trigger and on a windy day 1inch groups.not bad. just ordered a ballistic advantage premium 22inch creedmoor to swap out my 308 no name barrel. Lets see how it works.

BCA might be ok, and I hope it works out for you, but I do not consider BCA in the same class as the others you mentioned. Also include Krieger

    100 yds I’m betting

Take that bca out to your intended range then check back with us;)

If you still getting moa you hit the jackpot :)

You realize that 1* moa at 1000 yds is 10* right? You said you wanted 4* at 600-1000.

Yeah your right , starting thinking 600-1000 is not realistic at all, 400 yards max , it's for deer hunting and I've never been even 200yrds away.
