    Rifle brass 3~5 times depending
Most straight wall pistol brass can be loaded numerous times.
I remember reading an article where a single piece of .38 spa brass was loaded 140 times before the neck finally split

I read the same article, if I remember right they did an experiment to answer this same question.

I read that too. I have said it before maybe even here. I still have and shoot some Midway {Starline} 38spl. Nickel brass from the 70's that was range pickups I still load.
Always been target loaded brass. The Nickel is worn bad but no splits and primer pockets are fine. You know they have been run through the sizer dies some to wear the nickel down
