Cameraland is advertising an inexpensive Konus 20x-60x by 60mm spotting scope for $79.99. That's a pretty good price for a starter scope, especially 60mm. Anyone have experience with it? They admit it's not the best, but still seems to be a bargain.

"We just received our first delivery of their new KonuSpot-60C 20-60x60 Angled Spotting Scope which comes with a case and table top tripod for $79.99. No, it is not the greatest spotter out there, however, it is good quality and perfect for young ones looking to start glassing."

I have a 20-60x100 version i have used for higj power and for the money it was great! I was able to spot bullet holes at 200, and sometimes 300 yds depending on weather conditions.

If your looking for something to get started and have decent quality i dont think you can beat them.
