Just dumb-lucked into a really nice Polish M44 for cheap. Needs a cleaning rod (think the Polish ones were "in the white" rather than blued). Would also like to find an original Polish sling for the thing. Needle in a haystack I suppose but can't hurt to ask - anybody here have any of this stuff? Just wanted to try to find something local before going nation-wide with the hunt.

Should be standard carbine length (17.5 inches), unblued (finished "in the white"), with straight knurling/striations on the head of the rod - at least thats what I can gather from the sites dedicated to Mosin Nagants.I dont have another original to compare to.
