In my opinion, the nicest gun in the lot is still available ... the 1917 S&W in .38 Special. The finish has wear, but it's that smooth sort of wear that comes from years of handling, and it shows really well. Timing is good and the gun has that solid, heavy feel that newer guns just don't have. It is a commercial model shipped in 1919, and it has a trigger break that you just can't beat.
Bump. About half of these guns are gone, but there's still some nice picks here and I dropped some of the prices. This is a chance to add a top break Smith & Wesson to your collection!
Let me know what you've got to trade. Open to guns and ammo.
Bump. Would like to move a few more of these. Great antiques here at great (and freshly reduced) prices. Always open to trade offers for guns and/or ammo.
