Yesterday was a dreary rainy day. It didn't start out exactly that way but as it got closer to lunch time it got darker and windy. Of course right before I started frying some catfish out on the patio the sky opened up. It didn't ruin the cook or lunch though.
I had seasoned some fish fry and put a couple of pounds of catfish to marinate in yellow mustard and beer. While I was doing that I put some fries in the fryer.

Those came out crisp and delicious!

Some filets were fried whole and some cut up into nugget size.

Time to eat! I also threw together a box of macaroni and cheese which left a lot to be desired. The chickens will be enjoying that! Lol.....

The batter was crisp and tasty!
