As the Tittle states, How can I make GrandMa's Pickles? Or close to it.
She used to make some that had a crawfish boil kinda flavor! Were not just spicy but hot. So she used I think some red peppers. I was gonna try some Powdered Crab Boil, Garlic, And a Jalapeno slice or 2. And the regualer Vinager and Salt Brine

It's not crab boil, but these have a nice spicy garlic-y kick to them. These are some of the best pickles I have ever had. From Detroit, but you would think they were made down here. We have a couple local grocery stores in BR that stock them, so I assume you should have them in the NO area. Worth a try if you bomb grandma's.
