I need somebody to help me get this dang gas block off my colt 6720. I’ve been hitting it for almost an hour now trying to get it to move and nothing. I’ve taken this one off once but when I did it the first time I had bigger punches and a bigger hammer. Anybody around Baton Rouge that could do this for me? Yes I’m hitting it from the correct side before anybody suggest that.

I’ve never had one I couldn’t do. I’m in Hammond tho. Having the right tools definitely helps. I’m assuming this is a pinned sight/gas block? Your threads are often vague. Lemme know if you run out of options or feel like taking a ride to Hammond.

This colt is older than you and when a member brought it to me it was in terrible shape. It submitted..

Yes it’s a pinned gas block. Wow that thing was in bad shape looks like it’s been sitting under ground. I should have some time one of these days to make a trip out there. I’ll give you a call
