As long as you are aware of your surroundings and visibly look like someone who shouldn't be messed with, people won't pay you much mind. Now...if you're walking around with your eyes locked on a phone screen, that's a different story. With that being said, I still wouldn't want to walk around by myself at night in the area north of Florida Blvd, but I would if I had to.
