Any suggestions on how I can get the yoke to slide back into the cylinder?

I picked up a 64-1 at a pawn shop and gave it a good cleaning. Now I can’t get the yoke back in. Any help is appreciated!

Is the extractor fully seated in the cylinder?

As far as I can tell. In fact, I’ve been unable to unscrew the extractor. I’m pulling out what looks like blue loctite. I’ve tried all kinds of amateur gunsmithing like vice-gripping a leather belt onto the extractor, but it just spins in the leather. Last night I ordered extractor tools from Brownells. I should have left well enough alone, but the cylinder wouldn’t spin freely - and that drove me crazy lol.

If it will be any help to you, I have the Gun Digest Firearms Assembly/Disassembly book on revolvers. It covers the 29 as similar to the 64. I can scan the pages to a PDF later this afternoon or this evening, PM me with your email address.
