    Hawk's M14 Dummy Kits
Hello , Anyone ever use Hawk's M14 Dummy Kits for selector switch hole? Which kit looks most authentic to the originals? Is it hard to install?

    Thank you

I've purchased several of his button kits (without the selector arm), have installed on standard, oversize, and fiberglass stocks. No problems, easy to install. All you need is a drill, a couple of bits, and a screwdriver (see the instructions on Hawk's site). My kits came with chromed screws but I didn't like them, even though the chrome doesn't show from the outside. I replaced them with black screws from the hardware store. Current kits might come with black screws.

If you are looking for a connector arm, make sure it'll fit on your receiver. Certain receivers like the Armscorp have a rail that's too wide, again read the instructions. And, I don't think that kits with the Switch will work with an oversize stock.
