I have one and have had *0* issues running c product and ace mags... mine is a 10.5* sbr and I run it with silencerco omega... I was gonna go 300aac but didn’t wanna pay a primium in ammo price vs cheap 762

Think radical heavy barrel AIM SURPLUS enhanced bolt and carrier, psa lower

Around 2* groups with 1-4 power scope at 100 yards with Tula sp and around 1*-1.5* with Hornady sst

300 Blk = designed for the platform, similar ballistics, other capabilities

This. I've watched companies try to consistently make x39 work in the AR platform reliably for over a decade and haven't seen it happen yet. If Palmetto State is the current gold standard in x39 ARs, then that's a bad sign. :D

    Thanks!!!!

Only issue I have ever heard of around 7-10 years ago was that the bolt would possibly break after a lot of rounds... with the newer tech in metals used for bolts I haven’t heard of a 7.62x39 bolt breaking in years...mags never were a issue compared to the mini30 that was chambered for wrong bullet diameter and Frankenstein mags...

The ar platform has made leaps and bounds in the past 10 years... everything from caliber selection 6.5,6.8,.300,9mm,.45,.450,.458 ect ect ,much smaller .308 g2 platforms, piston platforms, mags and accessories , free float ect... accomplishing reliable 7.62x39 is a cake walk

I have a RRA AR-47 that uses standard AK mags, only complaint it there is no last round bolt hold open. functions normally no issues.
