Has anyone bought one of these? And if so would you recommend them? The reviews online are varied and most of them seem to be copy more than actual product reviews.

Digital night vision has the potential to be far superior to Gen 1 and as good as Gen 3 if you consider all the pros and cons.
Unfortunately, this potential will never be realized. Scope makers concentrate on bluetooth, recording, gps tagging and everything else that has nothing to do with night vision. There's also the problem of scope makers not getting together with Sony and using the excellent Exview sensors and the Sony DSP.

I've built homemade digital night vision scopes and they're a great idea with tons of potential. ATN could rule the market if they would concentrate on night vision

Due to all the problems associated with off the shelf digital scopes, I'm looking at the Firefield 3x42 NVRS Gen 1
