LMAO! This guy cracks me up. Only thing that will keep you from shooting is lack of time or ammo..

The PSA premium BCG’s go on sale for 59.99 regularly. I usually buy a few then.

LMAO! You know it! But mine has always been seasonal (well, since about 1980 anyway) as I build pretty regularly when prices are low like now.

I'll let you know after I shoot it tomorrow, how I like it.

I like the linear type comps. Everything goes downrange. Way better than the barking, mega concussive side exit brakes I see so often. I think you’ll like it.

Now that I've tried one, . . . , it's still hard for me to say. I've only shot M-Forgeries for the last decade in this caliber.
This is a MUCH heavier rifle and a rifle length gas system.

It's difficult for me to say how much I enjoyed shooting it was because of the weight, the length of the gas system, or the Comp.

The recoil impulse was much gentler. (Not that recoil is particularly bad on an M-Forgery). The noise was considerably less, and I breathed fewer fumes. I did like it all.

I rough zero'd the scope at 25 yards. Then I shot a target at a hundred. My groups were three to four inches at a hundred. Not impressive, but acceptable for this rifle. I'm sure they could be improved with a better trigger, more scope, and a proper rest. Probably by a lot.

I put a total of 130 rounds thru it today. 90 rounds of M885, 30 rounds of Federal Tactical/LEO 62 gr hollow points, and 10 Federal 55gr.

I saw no discernible group size difference between the two 62 grain offerings, and the 10 rounds of 55 grain actually was a bit better at 100 yards.
With a 1:8 twist that surprised me.

I'd wager that the limitation is the 3X scope. If I mounted a scope more appropriate for shooting at paper, I would have done much better.

I really enjoyed using the Nikon 3X 32mm scope. I shot one mag at the steel plate, and some clays I stood up at varying distances.
I could have a lot of fun with this scope, but I think it's better suited to a light carbine than a heavy rifle. I may change things around a bit.

I've got to say, I'm happy, overall, but will change things up a bit with the optics.

I wouldn't like it so much on a forced road march, though.

Oh, and the trigger supplied with the Mag-Pul LPK is garbage. Tons of gritty take up and creep. The PSA trigger on my carbine is MUCH better than this.

The only thing good about this trigger might have been the reset. It was positive enough to be heard across the range, while it was hot.

Oh, and a piggy ran right through my scope picture. I told the range officer to just say the word, . . . , he said to stand down. :D

Cute little brown piggy, running for it's very life.

I'm going to order a new trigger. Got one in mind.
