1939 '237' Code (Berlin-Lubecker Maschinenfabrik) non import marked K98.
All eagles are intact, waffenampts are the correct '214', and every part matches except bolt which is unumbered but is waffenampt proofed.
Matching numbers on:
Magazine and floorplate
Front and rear barrel bands.
Magazine follower
Bayonet lug.
Screws.
Sight leaf/base/slider.
Buttplate (worn but can be seen at an angle with a light)
Stock is numbered on heel of butt with correct letter suffix and in the barrel channel/handguard.
Stamps on stock are the worn, but there.
Bore isn't mirror bright, but for a rifle that probably seen alot of action, it is very good with very sharp rifling and tight muzzle.
I'm not to eager to part with this, but I've found something else I would like to add to my rack.
Price is very firm and sale will pend on if the other rifle I want is still available.
ONLY trades I would consider are a PU sniper (what I'm after) or any other Soviet/US (Garand).
I can send more pictures for serious inquiries.
Breaux Bridge area. Can travel a little ways for a sure sale.
