Finally got my new Christmas holster to hold my pistol with new Christmas light attached. I splurged and went for one of the fancy patterns too. You know when you get something new you just want to take it out and wear/use it? Even though all the strangers around you really don't care? Well that's how I was. I just wanted to take it out and wear it to lunch or something.

Then it hit me... It's a concealed item. Nobody can see it. I got really sad. So I'm posting it here since I can't just show it to random strangers on the street. :D

Is it comfortable? Looks like it’s for appendix carry, and my gut can’t get comfortable with a gun jabbing it

Noob. I wear a 36-38” pants, and have a 42” measured gut. I’ve worn my AIWB rig for a couple years now.
It took me quite a while to get used to it, but I kind of looked at it like keeping a big ass wallet in your back pocket.
Your body eventually compensates and most likely morphs around it. Try switching your wallet to your other butt cheek...and you’ll see how “uncomfortable” it is (even though it is fine in the other pocket).
I think my gut has either just grown tolerant to, and/or actually morphed into accepting the AIWB rig better.
    Just for food for thought.

I also prefer married rigs, when AIWB. Seems like it spreads the point loading (of a skinnier holster) across more area.

I wear a 36 also... I don't know the brand of the holster I tried. Maybe I'll just have to try out a different rig.

Appendix is absolutely the best way to carry a concealed firearm.
