The surgical center on bluebonnet is great. Most of them deal with LSU athletics and have done several surgeries in my wife and myself.

if you need upper extremity I would suggest Dr.Michael R. Robichaux. He did my girlfriend's 3 surgeries on her hand when the drunk ran into her. Did a great job.
And Dr. R. Bryan Griffith did the surgery on her knee and he did a great job.

They are both at The Surgical Specialty Center on Bluebonnet like MOTOR51 posted

Griffith did my ankle surgery when I got hit by a car. I don’t believe he is there anymore.

I see they posted that he's still there. He did great on Debbie's knee that was 2004 when drunk ass Eddleman ran over her. They have some good Doctors there.

Dr. Mark Field and Dr. Nick Hatzis at the Surgical Center 8080 Bluebonnet are two of the best in Louisiana.

What area of the body? I know several of the orthopedic guys and have had 15 orthopedic surgeries. Bryan Griffin is the king of joint replacement and does over 700 a year. In the same firm (BROC) is Michael Robichaux, who is a hand specialist. His cousin, Richard Robichaux was my general orthopedist for 25 years but he died suddenly. There are great docs at BROC and also at Bone & Joint. Gerry Murtagh did two shoulder jobs endoscopically with great results when others wanted to slice me open. I do agree with the previous comment that if you have a back or spine issue, use a neurosurgeon instead of an orthopedic spine surgeon. If you have a question about a specific guy or problem, let me know.

Agree with needing to know body part. Most all younger ortho's are sub specializing now. Who is best for a shoulder is likely not who is best with the knee or hand. Much less the back.

Thanks for the replies, it’s my right knee, work related.

Dr. Soileau did my wife’s back. Was very happy with him, he fixed a wreck.

Dr. Robert Easton at Surgical Specialty Center on Bluebonnet replaced both hip joints in about 2 hours. Went home the next day. No pain meds needed after day 5. Drove to store day 10. No complaints after 8 months.
