    If you take the trigger group from thos and put it in a regular glock you should have second strike capability. (Think taurus)

    Damn. I swear they had that feature. Its been about 5 years since ive messed with one.

    To have second strike, you have to use the 17R firing pin. That is not an option because the firing pin has a blunt end.

    Look how far back the 17R firing pin sits in the 17R slide firing pin channel. When the trigger resets itself, the back of the trigger bar cruiciform does not travel far enough forward to hook onto the bottom of the standard firing pin. The 17R firing pin is longer and sits further back in the slide.
