I’ve had the .22 cal version for a couple years now and have enjoyed it. After years of the RWS spring piston rifles it’s a little more of a pleasure to shoot. Accurate enough and more scope friendly ( my RWS 54 will eventually wreck a scope). Mine likes the heavier pellets (I shoot Crow Magnums) and is fairly consistent. I think the only thing that may effect performance is extreme cold that can decrease the power (pressure) because of the gas piston but apparently it don’t get that cold down here. Mine has the big wooden stock but my next one may be composite if it’s offered.
Contrary to popular belief, a head shot is not necessarily a guaranteed kill shot....but it sure does take the fight out of 'em.

and if one in every 100,000,000 M&M's contained enough cyanide to kill a person, the Mars candy company would be forced by public outcry to correct it

These are my favorite pellets for hunting. 18+gr HP. The RWS dome pellets are a little more accurate but not as potent on the squirrels. I’ve also taken an adult male coyote with the crow magnum. Shot placement is key
