Looking to buy a SIG P365 or P365 XL that was made after all of the problems were fixed. If you have one that you want to part ways with or if you see a good deal online, please drop me a PM or reply here.

    Austin

    8/28/2019 edit:
Anyone see any deals on the P365 XL? Heavily leaning that way unless a great used deal comes around on the P365-regular.

@FFLs - Got deals on the XL?

The one on LA Sportsman has dropped his price to $500. That's not terrible since it's only had (supposedly) 30 rounds fired through it and comes with 3 mags and a holster.

From what I've read, you want one with a build date of Aug. 2018 or newer. Sig supposedly fixed a lot of the issues then. Build date is listed on a sticker on the box.

The newer ones that were released after the initial hiccups come in a different hard plastic case. The original ones come in the old standard Sig black case. Newer post-problems ones come in a smaller grey case. I’ll post a picture of mine if it’ll load.

Here ya go. Any that come in cases that look like this were all released after they fixed all the issues.

    Definitely.

I'll look into the LA Sportsman one in a bit. Thanks!

I have a newer Sig P365 shown by the small case and sights. I have put exactly 100 rounds through the gun and just cannot get used to the drip angle.
It has ran perfect and is accurate it is just my being picky. You get the gun with 2 ten round mags, 2 twelve round mags($40 each when bought new), and a kydex IWB holster all for $440 shipped. Friends paypal is fine or postal money order. Will ship when it clears. PM is best communication first I will take it PM gets it. Pics to follow.

Some are still having issues and going back to Sig. A recent one had the barrel and slide replaced at no cost. Not quite ready for Prime Time.

My excitement over my new summer carry pistol has hit a snag, unfortunately.

I run my carry guns through 250 rounds of Speer Lawman, 100 rounds of Winchester NATO, and 150 of my carry load (in this case, Speer's Short Barrel Gold Dot load). I was quite pleased when my P365 - born on date 29 November 2018 - made it through without so much as a burp or hiccup. I cleaned the pistol thoroughly, gave her some TW-25B, stuffed some GDHP in some mags, and put the pistol in a holster.

Thirty five rounds into practice with the holster, I got a failure to extract. Casing stayed in the chamber and the slide attempted to feed a fresh round into the back of the casing. I paid careful attention to my grip to ensure my thumbs weren't contacting the slide and I wasn't limp-wristing the pistol, and had the failure occur three more times in the following forty rounds. Ammo was Speer Lawmen 124gr FMJ out of the same lot that I use in pretty much everything I shoot, without issue. When inspecting the pistol, the extractor looks OK - but what I thought was just cosmetic wear on the barrel hood includes gouging from the slide. I didn't catch it until a friend with a little more diagnostic experience started checking the pistol out.

So...massively bummed, and a call to SIG is in order.

I just sent my 365 back today as well for failures to extract. Purchased January of this year, manufactured in December.
First 250 rounds or so were flawless. Last 2 range trips (about 160 rounds) had about 40 failures to extract or partial extraction. Factory ammo: Speer Lawman and Blazer Brass had the issues. A few rounds of Gold Dot +Ps didn't. All 6 of my mags had issues. Sending some of the brass back to Sig with the gun.
Disappointed as this had become my carry gun.

    Update:
Put 100 rounds (50 Speer Lawman, 50 Blazer Brass) and no FTEs.
    However.....

I am getting major brass to the face/head now. Extraction looks to be coming out at 5-6:00. Gonna call again on Monday

Also think I got my first "dead trigger" incident. Round discharged, gun cycled but nothing on the trigger pull back (no click). Hand cycled the round out and next round fired ok.

Still considering buying one, preferably a newer (used) model. If I can't find a used one for a decent price, I'll grab one from one of the dealers who have reached out to me.
