Like the title says I am taking a new job in the Plaquemine area. I’ve been in southwest Louisiana most of my adult life and wondering where is a good place for me to put a travel trailer until I can build/buy something else. I also wanted to know if there are any skeet/handgun ranges in the area?

    Brusly, La.
Most f the RV parks are full of construction workers, you might try the one on La. 1 just north of the bridge over Bayou Plaquemine, also a very large one on Choctaw Road, across from Dow chemical; there is a new range that should open anyday just south of city limits across from E. J. Gay school, just over the RR tracks west of La. 1

Palo Alto rifle and pistol club, they have a website and start taking applications in april or so. It is not easy to get in and rules are strictly enforced, however its a wonderful range.
Bridgeview in port allen, more of a shotgun club but has rifle and pistol ranges too. takes applications all year.
