Best earplugs for shooting and still being able to converse with the person next to you .......?

Earplugs? I'd vote for electronic earmuffs over earplugs all day. I have a $50 pair that I got on Amazon, I think.

I have a pair of electronic earmuffs as well. I found them on sale somewhere for around $35 down from $50ish. I don't think I could go back to earplugs now.

The orange ones in the plastic bottle of 250. I add ear muffs of almost any type, electronic or not, when I’m shooting .308, 44mag, .50 BMG, etc. but the Mrs is an Audiologist so I gotta do what she wants when it comes to my hearing....which she says is selective.

I use the surefire full block earplugs.

I also use howard leight impact sport electronic muffs.

Usually plugs for shouldered firearms and muffs for the handguns.

Depends on where Im shooting. Outdoors I'll just use electronic muffs, indoors I always double up with either surefire defenders and muffs or throw aways and muffs.

I was also wondering same thing but pistol and rifle. I have never gotten muffs to work well over glasses. Maybe it is the glasses?
I have some ear plugs I have used for many years and wanted to upgrade if possible. Will take a picture later of them.
I do need better eyewear too.

I purchased the Walkers Razor XV for this past hunting season. Thought about muffs, but they would get pushed up by my shoulder when I got on my rifle. These plugs have worked great so far. they have survived the season and a few trips to the range. I even wear them synced to my phone and listen to spotify when mowing the lawn.

I am a hat wearer so I dont care for muffs. I use moldex plugs the purple ones are the best. You can get a sack full on Amazon for like 5$ I even like the little plastic case that comes with them it holds 2 pair and I usually always have it in my pocket or messenger bag.

Do you wear a cowboy hat? I wear a baseball hat to the range and don't have any issues with ear muffs fitting over it. And, in my opinion, the electronic ear muffs are worth the money.

Electronic are always nice. If you need in the ear, the Surefire ones are really nice
