Now that you have had this for about a year can you give us an update? How does it shoot? I was seriously considering one a while back but couldn't quite pull the trigger at over 3 grand... I'll just go be poor over here in the meantime lol.

Well, I hate to tell you this, but as much as I’d like to have one, I never got one. I don’t think anyone else has either. I’m just glad I never sent money. I don’t believe in preordering anything before it’s been out on the market. Especially firearms. From what I’ve seen over the years, when a manufacturer has to get money up front before they can produce goods, the outcome can be anything from a really bad rush job to a product that never pans out. I’m not referring to a reputable company that operates on a build to order basis, but one that literally can’t start production without orders paid. These folks will likely never get reimbursed in full.

Make sure you get 2 of them so you can look like this https://youtu.be/WOoUVeyaY_8?t=172

Oh damn I didn't see the datestamp or read the rest of the thread. That's sad.

Found this article that explains what happened https://www.ballisticmag.com/2019/09/06/sol-invictus-aa-12-shotgun-atf/

Yep. And to boot, back in the early 90’s, the ATF labeled the street sweeper (another drum fed semi auto 12ga) a destructive device. I don’t think the ATF wants the AA-12 to be available to the civilian market. Uh, go ahead and cue the ‘auto receiver’ comments, but I don’t truly believe that’s what prompted the ATF to go after them and I’m not sure I believe some of that explanation either.
    Time will tell I suppose.

Wow, I had no idea those AA12s were never delivered. I had pretty much forgotten they were selling them but I guess it should have been a clue that I never saw a single Youtube video or anything. Maybe one day the NFA will be gone and we can get real AA12s... HA a man can dream...
