So what kind of whiskey do you drink in the safety of your home without driving anywhere.
I drank Wild Turkey 101 for years in the Marines and afterwards up until about 2008.
Then a friend showed me W.L. Weller and I drank that until I couldn't find it anymore. (Still can't get it.)
Now I drink Buffalo Trace, Makers Mark.
I really like Whistlepig but it is too expensive to buy on a regular basis. (I'm retired and try to be frugal.)
If this has been covered before just ignore it. My memory is going too.

I've become very fond of the Knob Creek Single Barrel. As for being frugal, I like Elijah Craig.

Basil Hayden, Woodroff, 1792, Bullet, Knob Creek, Buffalo Trace. My favorite is Bookers but that’s for very special occasions. I like whiskey in general but I specifically like bourbon.

I like a good white lightning every now and then too, but good white lightning isn’t always easy to come by.

Grew up on Jack Daniels and will always have a soft spot for it.
I’ve probably gone through a couple barrels of Jameson.
Keep a bottle of Bookers on hand just in case the occasion arises.
I’m currently drawn to Pendleton above others.

Someone recently told me that Midleton's is about as far up as you can go with whiskey. I've never tried it and from the looks of the price, I'll probably never be able to afford more than a shot.....once.

I like just about all mentioned except Buffalo Trace. Never saw it as any better than average.
For special occasions, Bib and Tucker or Woodford Double Oaked.
    For every day, Beam Black.
    Unless it's scotch time....

Bulleit, Makers, Woodford Reserve, Jack Honey and something random that was left at my house by someone else.

Bulleit is my favorite tho. Makes an incredible old fashioned.
