    I did not think they were coming back but they showed up at my front door demanding food and water.
    Last year they both came and she even beat on the front door with her beak more than once.
    After she had her Babies she came by with all 7 of them looked just like the Yellow Peeps they sell at Easter time.
    When a cat came by they all tightened up like one "Large Yellow Thing" So they would not look small. Kinda smart for being a duck.
    They were there at 6 am again this morn complaining that the food was out and the water was dirty and low.
    In case you are wondering what the "Duck Food" is Sam's Club Cat food, it is small bite-sized and has a seafood taste {I assume as it smells that way. No, I did not taste it}
    No, I do not buy them food they are sharing My Very old Cats food. Who loves to sit and watch them she thinks they are her pets.

    On a strange note}
    She is very trusting of me as I was the one who feeds them. After my wife started she warmed up to her as well.
    Last year when she was tired of what Crystal call Duck Porn Live. She came and sat on the step next to her as a dog would.

    A buddy of mine has several that nest in his yard, and swim in his pool.

    They'll attack visitor's shoe laces and ankles with a vengeance.:rofl:

    We had to put the water and food in a container with lids so we could stop other things from Getting it at night.
    I found a baby Possum Eating and Drinking and Sleeping in a large planter.
    As cute as he/she was we did not need a Pet Possum, and my name is not Dr. Dolittle

    We have a flock of mallards in our pond and the wife loves them. they are just now hatching babies and some may make it to adulthood. The attrition rate is high here as wild animals and big ol bass think baby duck is just fine eatin. The last few years we have had Black Bellied Whistler ducks frequent the pond and we are trying to get them to settle in but they are getting better but won't stay past breeding season. We have some ducks leave and other wild ducks stay and eventually become tameish. What's not to love they get food, water and females so they stick around.

    Are you turning into Ruthie the Duck Lady? Theres one woman that comes out & feeds the ducks on the canal bank buy my house. They come from everywhere. There's one on W. Metry that stops her car in the Uturn to feed them ducks. Some of the birds know her car & fly up to the car before she stops.

    These ducks sound more like Democrats every post. Next thing you know they will be blocking up the streets and sidewalks hanging out because they don’t have to work to find their food. Whatever you do don’t threaten to stop feeding them because they won’t work for their food. And always be prepared to provide them a free lunch or things may get pretty nasty. :dogkeke:

    They take your food then crap all over your property & come back the next day waiting for more. You should name that hen Nancy.

    .

    I read the preview and assumed this was a Speedracer post and the raccoons were back!!!

    My mom used to feed the ducks when they lived on the water. If she didn't put the food out at the usual time they would start pecking on her patio door!
