Tuesday night practice at FRC on Choctaw in Baton Rouge.
    Starts at 6pm.
Also check out MCTA in Kiln Ms. I think they allow members to draw.

You can also find a local to you IPSC league where you might shoot a match once per month. I used to shoot now and then at East Ascension Sheriff range. If i remember right it was Cajun Action Shooters, good group.

Cajun Action shoots at Palo Alto in Donaldsonville. EAPS shoots at the Ascension Sheriffs range in Gonzales. Both good groups.

    a location near you
Travel may be a no go, but the MDWFP ranges allow strong-side draws. They have a no cant policy though. They also have a strict not touching policy if you aren’t at the line. So don’t show up without a case, bag, or holster for your guns to guns to reside between the car and bang. They have one in South, Central, and north Mississippi.

Depending on where you're at, Lafayette Practical Shooters has an USPSA match every week. Alternating Wednesdays and Thursdays at Sentry Defense in Youngsville.

If you would list a location close to your home it would be very helpful in getting you some proper information.
Palo Alto has a 25 yard range that is open, that can be used for just about anything you want. It is a private facility & you must
be a member to have access to this range. If you wish to join/check it out send me a PM.

Just go to sherburne when no one else is there.

Thanks. I will do that. What are good times to go to avoid others?

MCTA seems to be the most compelling choice for me. I will give them a visit this weekend

Im also in Metairie and an avid uspsa shooter, so drawing and moving are very important. MCTA is the best place to practice and only 40 minute drive

I would join USPSA. They have matches all over the state every weekend. Back when I was competing there were members that had arrangements with local ranges to allow USPSA competitors to practice as long as all USPSA rules were followed. But finding a range that will just let anyone off the street draw and move is going to be a liability issue for them.
