We saw it a couple days ago. I've never seen the first two so it didn't make much since to me. Not much but shooting and fighting. Debbie loved it she's seen all three. I have the first two recorded so I'm going to watch them to see what the story is

Fun show but the ending was a disappointment.
More action and not much plot in my opinion.

Spoiler Alert, so don't scroll down unless you really want to know:

It's left open so another movie can be made.
Kind of a John Wick and the Bowery King vs. the world.
Winston is also alive but we'll see where that goes.

I was all ready for a final close to the story but not yet.
In fact, I was so let down that I doubt I'll continue watching the series.
Methinks they got greedy with this one.

I think it's the best action of the series, but I agree with Spleen, not much on plot (but were the other 2?). Spoiler: it's all about revenge.

I'd say some of the gunfights were more Hollywood'ified in this one. The ending was real annoying because of the obvious setup for JW4.

Didn't see it yet, but I think they need to take the next film outside! Somewhere like the mountains, boat marina, ghetto would be funny! Tired of watching all on the shoot/fight scenes in doors. Need to "open" it up a bit!

In #2 he did the same move about 5000 times and no one caught on. Same kill over and over and over and over....
Unless he found a new move, there is no reason to see #3

Yes! I noticed that too! Thankfully he only does it twice during a knife fight in JW3. Halle might do it once or twice too.

So I enjoyed the first one. As with most sequels the second was not so much. Taking the fam to see JW3 this weekend. Expectations are low, but I'm invested at this point...

We do often seem to use slightly altered quotes from the series. "I have one question. Are you here for the dog???"

It's just another slasher movie that also has guns. This time they didn't shoot his dog but somebody's elses'. Reeves is riding more and more on the coattails of his very early movies.
