First and foremost I want to pay homage to all the military hero’s who paid the ultimate price so guys like me could have the freedom to raise a few bees and sell some honey. I hope the families of these fallen soldiers had a great day today.
The main honey flow is happening as I type this post. The tallow trees are in full bloom and the bees are flying fast and furious to collect some of that sweet nectar that will be turned into liquid gold. I usually don’t extract my crop until July 4th, but I have noticed over the last few weeks that some of the hives had some full boxes of honey so I took advantage of this 3 day weekend and extracted a batch. The honey is absolutely beautiful and has a very delightful taste. I bottled the whole batch today and it is now up for sale. Before I go I want to thank all of my friends from Bayou Shooter who helped me have a great year last year. I am looking forward to serving you in 2019 and if you need any info or directions to my stand please call or text me at 225-978-2403.

I’ll be glad to send them a few bottles. I’ll be a little more timely than I was last year. Let me know the address I need to send it to.
