Up for sale/trade is my Ruger MK III Hunter Model .22 pistol in stainless steel.
I am the original owner of this firearm, purchased in 2008.
Immediately I installed the Volquartsen internals kit, including sear, hammer, bushing and trigger.
Yes, this also deletes the nasty magazine disconnect safety Ruger put in this otherwise excellent firearm.
If you've ever had the pleasure of shooting a Ruger MK series with Volquartsen internals, you are in for a stunning shooting experience.
Light crisp trigger with adjustable overtravel.
Guessing it weighs in at about 2 lbs. break.
Not certain how many rounds I have fired through this pistol but it was not a safe queen.
Still shoots as good (actually much better with the internal work) as the day I bought it.
Reliable and fun pistol that will bring a smile to anyone's eyes.
But enough talk...
Comes with the pistol still wearing original grips from factory, one original magazine and original packaging materials including green Ruger special edition box and owners manual.
Also includes Ruger "keys" for factory lock installed in safety (never used them and actually forgot it was there) and a set of replacement fiber optic tubes for the front sight.
I am a collector of the Ruger MK series and this Hunter model in stainless is a stunning example of their best work.
Please note that I do not still have the original trigger and internals to go with the pistol but I am not certain why you would even want them anyway since this setup is so nice.
Cash price is SOLD firm.
Remember, Volquartsen isn't cheap.
Will also trade but not certain what exactly what I am looking for.
Not a fan of hunting rifles or sporting shotguns.
Could use a Glock 42, 43, 19 (Gen 4 or 5) or 21 (Gen 4).
Also a Sig P365 would be of interest.
