    Why would you choose a 1911 over a S&W TRR8?

    I honestly think I can run 8rds in a TRR8 faster than I can in a standard 1911.

Other than cost, why aren't there more 8 shot revolver guys out there?

I've owned tons of pistols, and I'm done with semi's for awhile....they're like AR's, they make sleepy...

My go 2 at home is a 357 but for carry its too fat. How wide is that wheel gun you have? I bet it's a lot more than 1 inch. Unless you open carry that wheel gun becomes Very Bulky. But a good revolver will never fail.
I can give your orphan semi's a good home.
There are only 2 brands of jeans. Levi & Wraglers but since Levi went Libtard it's just Wrangers now.

I would say that the semi has the advantage of faster reloads, and easier/cheaper to run a can on a semi. Plus carrying addl ammo is more convenient in a magazine than a speed loader or a speed strip. I will have to weigh them when I get home but it think a scandium commander 1911 is lighter than the comparable revolver. Might be wrong there but...idk.

You can get an extended mag for your 1911. You can't for your wheel gun.

    Why would I need it?
If you cant kill the mother****er(s) with 8 shots, you deserve what you get..more isn't always better...go shoot more...I burn 500+rds a month in pistol rds..

Yes. I've seen several autos malfunction too..way more autos than revolvers I bet....anyone who thinks an auto is more reliable than revolvers has a serious case of denial...same as saying bolt rifles arent as reliable as an autoloader...
