    Hey All,

interested in getting 9mm ammo up to 1,000 rounds.

I think i saw some reloads on here for $100 for 1,000 a while back.

Using the aluminum case Federal which works fine in all my 9’s. Would want to stay around that price point.

Open to ammo you don’t need/want any more, and also trades. I have 380 ammo, and some 25 acp.

    thanks!

SG Ammo. Lots of good stuff could even get the brass and sell the used brass.
Or save the brass and get a cheap kit to reload later on.

    Kenner LA.
If you find ammo for $100 a 1000 buy it you can not reload for that price. Cost of reloading
    Bullets 124 grain bullets are $65 1000
Primers small pistol $32 per 1000
Powder $28 can load 1000 rods for $14
    Brass used 1000rds for $20
    This equals $127 for 1000
If you reload you can find the best loaded bullets for your gun. Factory ammo may not shoot the best in your gun.

Spot on from my point of view 356tsw. I calculated cost just recently and came out to about $125/1000.

Before I started reloading I bought from Freedom Munitions and Peak Peformance Ammo. Seems it .18-.19 cents per round buying in bulk.

Thanks for the info. Was wondering the breakdown of reloading my own.

The guys i knew doing it were it we’re doing more as a hobby and dint really track the numbers. So I knew the advantage of being able to select the bullet and the load, just not if it was really cost effective or not.

9mm is the worse caliber to look at.
Loading 45 Colt with self cast 250 grain bullets with 3 cent primers and powder that cost 22 to 25 a pound and uses 6 or so grains. Even at 8 grains there is 7000 grains in a pound.
    Ever buy factory 45 Colt?
357 44 Mag etc there is considerable cost savings. Powder for most 9mm is 5 grains or so shot gun powders like red and green dot as well many target ones are in 4 and 8 pound containers. Cheap

Yes about 9mm, but also the higher the type of round you will reload will also save. You can still buy 1k of hollow points like XTP's for just a little more but even in bulk those go for .60-.75/round and you can reload them for under .30

I never had an ammunition issue using Gold Dot or HST for carry and Lawman or American Eagle for range.

Federal HST 9mm ammo is good stuff for self defense! I carry it in all of my 9mm handguns.

I have several cases of 9mm HST and several cases of 9mm American Eagle on hand.

What 250 grain mold would that be for the 45 colt? Thanks
