Get a custom shop CZ and thank me later! Come to GGE and I will let you shoot my Shadow Target 1. E

Even if you dont splurge and spend the extra $300 to $500 on a custom at least get a shadow 2. They are the perfect mix of features for a full sized metal framed handgun. They literally shoot by themselves haha.

Theres some Beretta undertones look for your self!

I'll stick to my beat up and worn out P01 lol... Cheaper and after several thousand rounds it is just now hitting its stride...

The last thing I'd spend $1,000 on is a Beretta 92 ... not when I can go buy a police-surplus 92S for about a quarter of that.

Here's the problem with this gun (and most other "customs" like it): rarely do these guns address a limitation that most shooters would bump into. It's feel-good eye candy on the best of days, and an overpriced lump with poor resale most other days.

If you like the 92 platform, then cool ... there's a ton of them that can be had for half the price (or less). And, as is always the case, training and practice will do a lot more for anyone's shooting than fancy sights and a fancy trigger guard.

The LTT has some features you can’t get with a regular 92 like the Vertec slide with the M9a1 frame. Not saying that is worth the price but to some it must be because it’s selling. I would rather find a Vertec on the used market and send to Wilson for their action tune. Bill Wilson’s shop does some fantastic 92 work.

Good points, but the $250 92FS must be a unicorn...
The 92S is a bit antiquated. I have one and keep it in the WWII era sidearm category with the old Star 9mm and maybe the P38’s I have. They don’t even share the 92FS mags or grips and there’s no real aftermarket source to speak of.
Maybe a beat up DA only or a centurion in the $300 range, but the police trades I’ve seen over the past few years are $400 plus. There’s a reason that they retain their value.

The later model 92’s and 96’s I’ve purchased had a few plastic parts. I found entire surplus kits on the cheap and swapped those parts out for steel, mostly because of preference. I don’t see myself buying a bunch of Wilson Combat parts to race one up tho, much less buying one in that format, but I’m the guy that believes a colt 1911 is fine the way they left the factory.
