As the title suggests, ISO 2-3 HP Air compressor motor. +-3,450 RPM. Has to be capable of operating on 110V power while pulling less than 20amps at full load. .

I want to use my dad’s old Craftsman compressor. The thing was built and shipped for 220V power. I wired it down to 110V, but the dumb thing keeps popping my 20amp breakers.

I have one open slot on my breaker to run a 220V line but that would also involve using the next circuit that I currently use for the 110V. I figure it would be easier to swap motors than run a 220V circuit.
