Before now no brass was available it had to be made from 32 S&W long by taking the rim off and making an extractor groove.
Buffalo has, some at a buck each or so.
My dad had 300 but shot 25 or so and the Rest stolen.
I am sure the idiots tossed them since they did not fit a 380 or 9mm.
Anyway rambling now but Starline now makes brass so ordered some and will fire up the lead furnace and cast some bullets

My mom's gun. Dad got it mail order WW2 French 7.65 lounge (32cal) obsolete dead cal.
This is what mom had when dad was away for work. When we were
Kids we shot the bearcat and single six. Later on shot the 32 pistol with surplus some.
My dad had 300 rounds made up custom for 350 bucks. But they were stolen along with so.e guns from his home. Worthless to whoever had them.
Anyway dad really liked that gun as it put a smile on his face shooting it as it was his wfes gun who had passed in 2001. Dad has also passed so shooting it may be both cool and are emotional.
I vividly remember tgat gun out cocked and locked when dad was gone for mom to protect her and her family.
It is in great shape. French WW2 Pistol only dropped once.

I did a lil research on this cartridge. First off, it has a very interesting history, and was used and made in the us first!

Also looks like a 30 carbine is just a longer version of the 7.65x20.

Wonder if 30 carbine brass could be resized and cut to length?

This is what guys were doing before new brass was made. Note the pics are of 32 S&W Long cut down and not done right. As the extractor groove is cut too much.
The 30 Carbine ruins the extractor as well as not a good idea. Should have brass in hand today or Saturday
