    1. Colt Trooper 357, previously cataloged and billed as the "357." purchased from F&B in 1966. It has Pachmayr grips, factory nickel finish, 4" bbl, and of course, adjustable sight. This is an "i" frame, same as the Python, and it is evident in its lock-work. Unfortunately, it was places in a Doskocil foam case, which after 50 years of being pristine, left residue and some pitting on an otherwise blemish free gun (shown in close photo) It dropped from collectible LNIB to a shooter grade VG condition. Later iterations, such as the MkIII and MkV, are sintered or cast parts; with no parts commonality with the Python. $550
    2. U.S. Property marked Smith and Wesson M&P 4" Victory model 38. NO IMPORT MARKS!!! Arsenal Refinish at some point in its past, all proofs and US property markings in tact and extremely sharp. I believe it to be a refinish only because it looks so good that the odds favor it; there are no visible indications of a refinish. $450 OBO
    3. LAPD DAO Smith and Wesson model 60, previously owned by Ken Yerkes, Badge 6349, LAPD Metro Div. In keeping with the practice of that era, it was purchased and converted to DAO by the LAPPRC armorers, and personalized to the officer. Hammer and trigger were usually jeweled in the process of removing the hammer spur, this is no exception. Unique to the LAPD specs was the provision of a red ramp front sight on the pinned 1 7/8" barrel. It is, of course, a round butt. I would rate the cosmetic condition as exc, with very few of the hairline scratches that stainless steel guns pick up. $425 with DeSantis holster
