    Not sure if you were a fan Ric Ocasek has passed

    The '80s were a bad time for most Music. Was and still am a Rock guy.
    Rock turned into Hairbands, and most were crap But for new music the Cars were great. I still have most of what they made on Vinyl {and CD}
    Thet had their own sound for sure.

    Life's the same I'm moving in stereo
    Life's the same except for my shoes
    Life's the same you're shakin' like tremolo
    Life's the same it's all inside you
    It's so easy to blow up your problems
    It's so easy to play up your breakdown
    It's so easy to fly through the window
    It's so easy to fool with the sound
    It's so tough to get up
    It's so tough
    Heres a great shot of what he looked like bach then

    Bite your tongue! I lived my teenage years in the 80s and the music was innovative and is still great. Movies, too. Long live Ferris Bueller and The Breakfast Club!

    I hear ya. Yeah, I consider most of that 80's music, too and it was all good. I'm a fwe years younger than you, so I picked up on the 80s modern weird stuff more than you did, obviously.

    LOVE the Cars! They changed the scene. I still hear their influence in music.

    I remember my school bus driver would crank up Touch and Go when it would come on the radio. He was one of the first musicians that my generation said, *Must be awesome to be a ugly rocker and be able to hook up with a supermodel*.
