Finish looks a little peculiar. Is that painted?

I think it is. When he first posted it up it had a terrible looking camo job on it. Then he tried to remove the paint and the gun looked like it had flour all over it from the paint he didn't/couldn't remove. Now it looks like this. Curious myself if this is cerakote or bbq paint.

A note to all Potential Buyers!
The Seller has now Disclosed that He did, in fact, paint it. Please see The Edited Sale Adversiment Above!
He has done so to give a more accurate description of the item. By Painting it this Firearm it should now be Considered Used! As it has been "Modified" from the way that Colt Manufactures them So it is no longer to be listed as "New"

First and foremost, those are 2 different guns. The first Colt with the Romeo 7 red dot was sold. I also have this older manufactured Colt that is all original. Never had any other paint job. This Colt, all I did was apply a matte black coat to the gun because the older manufactured models were grayish. So I applied 1 coat of matte black with 1 coat or clear matte enamel. Everything is as from manufacturer. Only change was I put matte black coat of with matt clear enamel.

If you made a change from how it would come from the manufacturer, it isn't how it would come from the manufacturer. If you altered the item, it is not new. It is not like new. It is used, unfired, in excellent condition. To list an item as new or like new, it should be in a condition one would expect to receive it in from the manufacturer.

I understand that. I guess I wasn't thinking that way. I said new because it was Unfired. But I understand. I changed it. I did put a coat of matte black paint over the original gun. And to answer a previous question, the paint is simple camo paint from Walmart. The matte black. I don't do cerakote or duracoat. Although some jobs are very nice, I just don't care to do that.
