    Ok guys, Who has used it? More specifically what bullets/ammo are you using?

    Gifted a Ruger American in 7.62x39 to my nephew last year and I’m surprised he hasn’t shot the rifling out of it yet.
    He will probably be in the woods this Saturday with it

    I hunted with a mini30 for years using Federal 123 gr soft point, it packed a wallop and seldom did they run very far.

    deer rifle of choice in WV when I was a kid was the sks.
    If they were poor they'd cut the tip off the fmj. If they could afford it it'd be the cheap rem green and yellow box.
