    Oh, the waste and desecration caused by the senseless the UK/EU firearms laws.

    I saw on a UK dealer's page a 1936 P08 code s/42 MATCHING NUMBERS in about 90%, that had been deactivated as per EU 2018 regs.

    Chamber slotted full length, steel rod welded in, barrel slotted, bolt cut back/firing pin welded, pin inserted to prevent full size mag insertion.

    But hey, the toggle could still be worked! :mad:

    As a cruffler I truly hate such things.
    There is beauty in those old machines that some folks will never be able to see much less comprehend.

    I once saw an *art installation* made up of old firearms welded together.
    It included several WWII Colt and Remington 1911s as well as a S&W Combat Masterpiece among others.
    They were all bent and welded together in a random fashion.
    Heartbreaking.
